Delivery & Returns


Springwools deliver worldwide. Delivery is the same price no matter where you are in the world*, or the size of your order - just €3.99. We also offer an Express tracked delivery option for €4.99

* Excluding Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. This is due to exceptionally high international courier charges to these countries. Delivery charges to these countries are €8.99 for all orders less than €350, all orders over €350 will be charged a delivery rate of €3.99.

FREE Express Delivery to all Irish delivery addresses on orders of €60 and above. You must select the Express shipping method option at checkout.

We try our best to process and dispatch all Express orders the day they’re placed. In the unlikely event of a delay, you’ll be promptly advised. If you place an Express order outside of office hours we will dispatch your order on the next working day. (Office hours Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm)

If you select "Basic Flat Rate Delivery" you can expect delivery time of 6 - 8 days for orders within the Republic of Ireland. You can expect longer delivery times for International destination.

Your order’s delivery method will depend on the size of your order, the delivery destination and the time of day your order is dispatched. Orders within Ireland dispatch by An Post. Fastway Couriers are available upon request. Small international orders dispatch by regular post, and larger international orders by Priority Parcel Post. Tracking information is provided to you for Irish orders over 250g, European orders over 2kg, and all other international orders over 1kg (only applicable where express delivery is selected). Springwools does not accept responsibility for orders that are returned due to non-collection . Claims for loss in transit, or non delivery, must be notifed to us within 30 days of order date. The customer accepts responsibility to accept parcels or to contact carrier in the event of non-delivery.


If it turns out that a yarn you ordered online isn't as you expected or was ordered in error, we are happy to accept returns within 10 days of our dispatch date (20 days for international sales). We offer credit or exchange for such returns (less actual carriage cost- Springwools pays more towards carriage than the advertised rate, as the additional charge is offset against your purchases). Outside of this 10-day period, our usual shop Returns Policy applies (below). Should your order be returned to us due to non-delivery (i.e. returned marked "Not Collected", "Uncollected" or similar by the carrier) we offer a refund less the actual carriage cost, plus any shipping charges and costs of carriers for returns plus credit card or Paypal charges, commissions and fees.

If there is an error or shortage in your order Springwools must be notified within 7 days of receipt of delivery.



In addition to your Statutory Rights, we’re happy to accept returns within 30 days of purchase, provided yarn is unused, and we still have the same dye lot in stock. We offer an exchange or credit note for such returns.

Please keep your receipt. Without it, we can’t verify the price you paid and so can only offer an exchange/credit to the value of the item’s lowest recent sale price.

Sorry! But we cannot accept returns of yarn quantities over one kilo, buttons, books, patterns, needles, sale items, or special orders.
